Customising the ProViewer Toolbar

The Cimar ProViewer is a very dynamic tool that can be customised to the individual user. In this guide we will explore how these changes can be made from within your own account.

Accessing the ProViewer Settings

To get started you will need to open the ProViewer and open up the settings toolbar.  First open the viewer by clicking the "Images" icon on the right side of the worklist. This can be done on any study as you are only interested in the ProViewer settings and not the imaging itself.

Once you have the viewer open, click the "Settings" option in the toolbar at the top. Please note your standard toolbar may look different to this screenshot so the "Settings" icon will be the same, but it might be in a different location.

You now have the general settings open. If you click "Toolbar" on the left hand side, you will see the toolbar settings where you can customise it to your personal preference.

Customising the Toolbar

This menu might look a bit daunting at first but it's a simple drag and drop system. The 3 headers tells us what section the different functionalities are currently in.
"Available Tools" is all the functionality available in the ProViewer. From here you can choose what item you would like. Simply click it and hold it to drag it across to one of the two other sections.
"Toolbar" is the main toolbar you see at the top when in the ProViewer while the "More Items" section is a little dropdown that appears when clicking the "More" icon in the toolbar.

For this example let's drag the reports across to "More Items".

To save the changes made, simply click the blue "Save" button at the top of the menu followed by "Close".
The ProViewer will now reload with the new settings active.

The "More" icon have now appeared and when you click it you will see the dropdown which corresponds with the "More Items" section from the toolbar settings. In this example you will now see "Reports".

So in summary to add items to the general toolbar you drag icons from the left side ("Available Tools") and drop them in the middle ("Toolbar") and to add items to the "More" dropdown you drag them across and drop them on the right side ("More Items")
