How to view an HL7 message

If a HL7 integration has been configured between Cimar and another one of your services you will be able to view any HL7 messages sent to Cimar in the UI. This can be useful to track functions of a workflow, troubleshoot communication problems and details of messages, test the capability of other services on your network such as the RIS. 

You will require the HL7 Messages: View role permission to view HL7 messages sent to the account.

How to access HL7 messages in Cimar

  1. Click the HL7 option in the navigation bar
This is the HL7 page where a list of all HL7 messages sent to Cimar is provided.
  • Type: The type of HL7 message received
  • Name / MRN / Accession: Information relating to the patient and their study
  • Created Date: The time and date Cimar received the message
  • View: View the complete message received
  • Search: Filter HL7 list based on provided criteria
