What are study stages

A study stage tag is a study field that can show what step of a process a study is currently in. Study stage tags are often used in reporting workflows to quickly display if a study has been reported yet. Many automatic features of a workflow can be driven by what stage a study is in, such as automatically notifying stakeholders when a study has finished reporting (stage set to Complete) or sharing a study into an MDT workflow when the stage has been set to MDT.

The stages are entirely customiseable to fit your workflows and their requirements. Please contact your Cimar representative for further questions.

How to Update the Stage of Study

1. Click the Study Stage dropdown
   

   
   

2. Select the stage you want to move the study into
   

Some actions in an account, such as approving a report, will automatically move a study into Complete (or the last option in the list). Contact your account administrator for further questions about automatic study stage changes.
