Reinstall Accelerator

To reinstall the accelerator you need administrator privileges for your device and access to the accelerator installer executable.

The acclerator executable’s can be downloaded from:

PC- https://cloud.cimar.co.uk/static/pa/viewer-accelerator-installer.exe

MAC - https://cloud.cimar.co.uk/static/pa/viewer-accelerator-installer.pkg 

Uninstalling

Windows

  • In the bottom righthand corner, find and right click the accelerator and click Quit

  • Press the windows key and search for Add or Remove Programs
  • Search for Viewer Accelerator version 2.0 and uninstall it


MAC

  • Navigate to your applications directory and locate the Viewer Accelerator
  • Drag the Viewer Accelerator into the Recycling Bin

Installing

Windows

  • Install the executable
  • Press the Windows key and search for and run the viewer accelerator. You should receive a notification in the bottom right hand corner of your screen informing you that it is initialising, it will update you when it’s ready.
  • Your previous settings should have been retained, you can check this by right clicking the accelerator in the bottom right and clicking options → settings, once opened click Show Admin settings. There should be data in the Accelerator ID and accelerator serial no boxes, if not please reach out to your account administrator or CIMAR support at support@cimar.co.uk

  • Accelerate a study and confirm that everything is working as expected.

MAC

  • Install the executable
  • Open launch pad, search for and run Viewer Accelerator
  • On the top bar of your screen, you should see a small viewer accelerator logo, click this and select Options → Settings, this will open a new window, click Show Admin Settings

  • Your previous settings should have been retained, you can check this by right clicking the accelerator in the bottom right and clicking options → settings, once opened click Show Admin settings. There should be data in the Accelerator ID and accelerator serial no boxes, if not please reach out to your account administrator or CIMAR support at support@cimar.co.uk

  • Accelerate a study and confirm that everything is working as expected.
